London, 3 May 2012 - Randgold Resources has posted a robust performance for the first quarter of 2012 despite the challenges presented by a coup in Mali, the expansion of its Loulo complex and the stabilising of its new Tongon mine in Côte d’Ivoire.

Bamako, Mali, 27 April 2012 - Humanitarian funds raised by Randgold Resources chief executive Mark Bristow’s trans-African motorcycle safari in 2010 have been used to make a food donation to people in the north of Mali, which has been afflicted by an uprising by Touareg rebels. The ‘Nos vies en partage’ trip was sponsored by Randgold and its service providers and suppliers.

Kinshasa, DRC, 16 April 2012 – Construction work on the Kibali project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which when completed is expected be one of the largest gold mines in Africa, is proceeding rapidly as the developers keep their sights firmly set on first production by the end of 2013.

London, 30 March 2012 - Randgold Resources Limited today reported attributable reserves of 16.28 million ounces compared to 16.38 million ounces a year ago, despite a 58% increase in production. The overall reserve grade was increased from 3.78g/t to 3.84g/t, in line with the company’s focus on quality over quantity.

London, 6 February 2012 - Powered by increased production at all its operating complexes, Randgold Resources’ profit soared by 259% to US$433.4 million for 2011. Profit for the fourth quarter of US$136.2 million was up 323% on the corresponding quarter in 2010 and was also higher than the company’s annual profit in any preceding year. The board has proposed a US$0.40 annual dividend, up 100% on 2010 on the back of the substantial increase in earnings.

Kinshasa, DRC, 2 February 2012 - Preparatory work has been completed at the Kibali gold project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where first gold production is scheduled for the end of 2013. Randgold Resources, the project manager and operator, and AngloGold Ashanti each has a 45% stake in Kibali with the DRC parastatal Sokimo owning the balance.
